I recently had the chance to travel to Denver, Colorado to test drive one of Ford’s newest offerings. I was very surprised that it was a 2010 Ford Flex. After all, this vehicle was just introduced last year, so what could they possibly do to improve on it?

Check your hitch ball, coupler, and safety chains every time you tow. Many people with long-time trailer experience use a check list to be sure all equipment is hooked up and in good condition. Damage can happen quickly when something goes wrong. For example, safety chains can be worn through very quickly if they make contact with the pavement.

Towing a trailer may be one of the most stressful driving situations for some truck owners. For one thing, it is not easy to manoeuvre around corners and change lanes with that extra length behind your truck. Backing up also can be challenging. Not to mention, towing up a steep hill can be tough on your truck.
