The 4th Annual Cruise the Shore For Charity car show took place on August 20-21, with all proceeds from this year’s event going to the BC Cancer Foundation, a first for the show. Entry into the show was free – it takes place on the wide open Edgemont Boulevard in North Vancouver – but participants were encouraged to enter the 50/50 raffle from which all proceeds went to the Foundation.
There were no restrictions on which vehicles were entered, so those lucky enough to attend got to experience everything from classic muscle cars, to trucks, to Porsches converted to EV power. Over 110 cars were on-hand, making this the biggest Cruise the Shore yet.
In addition to the raffle, there were also several “best of show” prizes to be won, including Best Open Top, Best Custom, Best Paint and more, with Tim Jonsson’s 1969 Chevrolet COPO Camaro winning the Best In Show award.
Overall, more than $78,000 were raised this year, making it a fun day for all.
