Yamaha Unveils ATV and Side-by-Side Lineup for 2019

Yamaha have recently introduced their 2019 lineups for both ATVs and Side-by-Side which includes a couple of new models and a ton of refinements.

Starting with ATVs, Yamaha will be offering an all-new Special Edition (SE) Grizzly which features 27-inch Maxxis ‘Zilla tires and the legendary 700-class, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that features improved acceleration from a new six percent gear reduction. In addition to the engine enhancements the SE Grizzly features an aggressive look with painted bodywork and new 14-inch two-tone cast aluminum wheels for increased ground clearance. All 2019 Grizzly models get a new dash with a redesigned meter and pre-installed two-inch tow receiver, Yamaha’s proven Ultramatic automatic transmission, On-Command 2WD/4WD system and Electric Power Steering. In addition to the new model, Yamaha will continue to offer the Kodiak utility-based ATVs in 700 and 450 models while the sporty Raptor ATVs will be offered as the Raptor 700R or YFZ450R along with the youth Raptor 90 and YFZ50 models.

Yamaha’s 2019 lineup of Side-by-Side (SxS) vehicles is highlighted by the all-new Wolverine X2 which follows last year’s launch of the four-seat Wolverine X4 and offers proven off-road capability with real world comfort in a compact and nimble chassis. The newly designed 600-pound-rated dump bed with an truck-style tailgate will allow you to easily haul your gear while the new 847 cc twin cylinder engine features a smooth, vibration-free operation. The X2 features the durable Ultramatic continuously variable transmission (CVT) that is enhanced to accommodate more than 60 lb-ft of torque and puts power to the wheels through a driver-controlled On-Command four-wheel drive system and Electric Power Steering.

In addition to the X4, the new YXZ1000R is designed for ultimate high-performance off-road adventures on a wide variety of terrain. The race ready chassis is ready to deliver coast-to-coast capability, comfort and convenience. The YXZ1000R features Yamaha’s industry-first 998cc triple cylinder engine and industry-exclusive five-speed manual transmission. The all-new SxS features a new style, oversized relocated radiator, lower seats, updated suspension and increased accessory integration.

The Viking and Viking VI complete the Side-by-Side lineup and offer three- or six-seat cabs with a powerful 686-cc single-cylinder engine, 11.8-in. of ground clearance and a 9.7-gallon fuel tank for long rides or all-day jobs.
