Chevrolet Expands Midsize Truck Lineup with New Colorado ZR2 Offerings

Chevrolet have expanded their midsize truck lineup by offering two new special editions of the Colorado ZR2 called the Midnight Edition and Dusk Edition. Unveiled ahead of their public debut at next week’s SEMA Show, the 2018 Colorado ZR2 Midnight Edition features an all-black exterior finish, black bowtie emblems and 17-in. five spoke black accessory wheels. Also featured are a black sport bar with off-road LED lighting and ZR2 logos on the sport bar sail panels. The 2018 Dusk Edition of the ZR2 will feature the same content as the ZR2 Midnight but can be purchased in all other offered colours with black accents used throughout. As you likely already know, the Colorado ZR2 is an off-road oriented version of the regular mid-size Colorado that is equally as comfortable during off-road situations as it is during daily driving situations. It features an off-road suspension with cast-iron control arms and Multimatic DSSV dampers which are the first off-road shocks to feature  position-sensitive spool valve technology. The ZR2 is further distinguished visually with an aggressive hood and grille combo and modified front and rear bumpers. It comes available with the standard 3.6L V6 engine paired to an 8-speed auto transmission or the available 2.8L Duramax turbo-diesel which produces an impressive 369 lb-ft of torque.
