Ford Performance Offering 2018 Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition

Ford Performance has announced they will be offering a new limited-edition model of the 2018 Ford GT honouring the GT40 Mark IV race car that was driven to victory by an all-American team at Le Mans in 1967. The ’67 Heritage Edition GT features a gloss-finish Race Red exterior with white stripes and exposed carbon package. The hood of the car features a white No.1 as do the passenger and driver’s side doors. A set of 20-inch one-piece forged aluminum wheels in silver satin clear coat with black lug nuts further enhance the vehicle’s appearance while red brake calipers and silver rearview mirror caps are also added.

Inside the Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition boasts new leather trimming for the carbon fiber seats with red accent stitching which is also found on the steering wheel. The seat belt webbing is also red while the paddle shifters are anodized gray. To finish it off, satin dark stainless appliques are used on the instrument panel, door register bezels and x-brace.

Further modifications for the special edition are a unique serialised identification plate, plus exposed matte carbon fibre door sills, air register pods and centre console. The car can be viewed at www.FordGT.com and will see limited quantities produced for the 2018 model year.
