First Drive: 2022 Nissan Frontier
The Nissan Frontier is getting a full-scale redesign for 2022 – and safe to say, it’s been a long time coming. We haven’t seen an all-new Frontier since the second-gen truck debuted in 2005 and we haven’t seen a new model-year since way back in 2019. That means it will have been three full model years since a new Frontier arrived on lots, as it should be doing by the time you read this.
Walks the Walk: 2020 Toyota Tacoma Limited
I‘m honestly a little scared as I sit down to write this review, just as I was a little scared as I took the seat of the 2020 Toyota Tacoma Limited and proceeded to shoot a video review.
Road Test: 2020 Nissan Sentra SR
The Nissan Sentra has now entered its eighth generation and although it continues to be Nissan’s best-selling nameplate in Canada, it was in great need of an overhaul. The previous version was still a very good value and got the job done, but there was little to wow you away from some of its very impressive competition. This has all changed now as the Sentra now boasts a much sportier, more upscale look with a completely updated interior that is well laid out, functional and nice to look at.
Road Test: 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit
One of Jeep’s biggest selling points is the versatility and capability each and every one of their vehicles have, and the 2020 version of the Grand Cherokee is no exception. Still sticking to the same generation that was introduced back in 2011, the Grand Cherokee enters 2020 perhaps a little long in the tooth, but if you’ve driven one you can clearly see Jeep is sticking with the ‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ mantra as it continues to perform as good or better than its competitors.
Road Test: 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV
The Outlander PHEV receives a slight update to the front and rear fascia, a new seat design and material, new LED headlamps and new 18-in. alloy wheels.
Road Test: 2019 Jeep Cherokee Overland
Given how competitive of a segment it finds itself in, it was imperative that Jeep got the refresh of the Cherokee right and after just one quick look, it’s clear they have. As mentioned before, gone is the ‘interesting-looking’ front-end design of the previous model and in comes a much better, more purposeful design that is sure to attract some customers.
Mid-Size Resurrection: 2019 Ford Ranger
For 28 years, the Ford Ranger was a key player in the mid-size pickup truck market. Its size and price were an attractive alternative to the full-size trucks available in the decades from 1983 to 2011 – and, as it got older, its steadily dropping cost kept driving sales.
Worth the Wait: 2020 Jeep Gladiator
Jeep, one of the hottest brands selling today, is doubling down on its success with a brand-new midsize pickup truck for 2020. Called the Gladiator (a revived Jeep truck name from the ’60s), it will look to score sales in the rebounding mid-size market as well as offering Jeep faithful another truck option within the brand family they already love.
First Drive: 2019 Ford Ranger
Story and photos by Dan Heyman It’s not often that a manufacturer rejuvenates two once-loved nameplates in a single year, but so it goes with Ford, who this year have
Road Test: 2019 Honda Pilot Touring
The Honda Pilot was one of the first of its kind when it came out back in 2002 and has enjoyed a fair amount of success since then. Backed by Honda’s great reputation for value, economy and reliability it has continued its success into its now third generation first introduced in 2016.
