Nissan Reveals Smokin’ TITAN Project Vehicle with Fully Integrated Smoker and Mobile Kitchen

Nissan has revealed what is probably the ultimate tailgating and barbecuing pickup truck complete with the world’s first fully integrated in-truck-bed smoker and mobile kitchen. Dubbed the Smokin’ TITAN, the project vehicle was built specifically for barbecuing and tailgating enthusiasts and features a custom CM Truck Beds aluminum flat bed complete with a Lang BBQ smoker, three food prep stations each featuring a Partner Steel aluminum double burner prep stove alongside a Brazilian wood cutting board. A Teton Steel custom on-board 24×24 sink and water storage system is accessible with an easy step up from the flat bed and a Yeti Cooler can be interchanged with the water storage system when cold storage is a priority. Utilizing the TITAN’s flat load floor, an ARB 50-qt. Fridge Freezer and Slide was added to the back seat along with a custom spice rack. Since food smoking can create great amounts of heat, the TITAN’s factory bed was removed and put on a B&S Custom trailer to prevent the heat form affecting it. The bed-trailer features two Nissan TITAN Boxes as lockable dry storage for smoker pellets and wood chips and features a sliding tray that was designed to easily slide the smoker in and out of the bed. The trailer is secured by a Diamondback SE Tonneau cover and allows the user to smoke food at the tailgate and then pack it up for the trip home. In addition to the cooking equipment, the Smokin’ TITAN features a custom wrap, 20-in. ICON Alloy Alpha wheels and Nitto Terra Grappler tires. The truck, which started life as a stock TITAN XD Gas King Cab Model, will be making appearances this spring and summer and outdoor adventure shows and exhibitions.
