Ford Super Duty Sets All-Time Sales Record for Month of May

Ford Motor Company of Canada have announced that they have experienced their best month of May on record in terms of total F-Series sales while the F-Series Super Duty experienced its best month ever on record. This marks the second consecutive month that the Super Duty has set a best ever sales record with an increase of 5%. Also experiencing its best May on record was the F-150 pickup with a 4% increase. President and CEO of Ford Motor Company of Canada Mark Buzzell was quoted as saying “Canadians continue to tell us that the innovations in Ford F-Series pickups are exactly what they are looking for in a truck. As we work towards delivering the freshest vehicle lineup in the industry by 2020, this success is a good reminder of what we can achieve when we deliver the vehicles, features and experiences consumers value most.”  Given some of the outrageous gas prices across the country, these sales achievements can be seen as a direct result of the strides Ford have taken to make their truck lineup as efficient as it can be while still maximizing the capability you’d expect in a truck through the use of features like aluminum bodies and smaller, turbocharged engines.
