Nissan Group Achieves Best Canadian Sales Month in June

Nissan Canada have reported that they have achieved an all-time monthly sales record in the month of June with 16,330 units sold which is a 2% increase over June of 2017. The individual Nissan and INFINITI divisions also recorded their best months ever with 14,932 and 1,398 units sold respectively. Nissan’s best-selling vehicle in Canada, the Rogue crossover, continued to achieve strong sales with 4,342 examples sold while the smaller Nissan Qashqai saw substantial growth in June with a new all-time record of 2,150 units moved. Other highlights for the Nissan brand include the Kicks compact crossover selling 609 examples in its first full month on sale and the TITAN full-size pickup selling 684 units which is its best June ever on record and an increase of just over 60% over June 2017. On the INFINITI side, the QX60 luxury crossover had a record breaking month with an all-time best 567 units sold, retaining its place as the brand’s best-selling vehicle. Other highlights include the all-new QX50 crossover selling 335 units and the refreshed QX80 achieving an increase of 13.7%. These numbers are consistent with the current automotive market which has seen a clear shift from cars to utility vehicles.
