Road Test: 2020 Ford Escape Titanium

The Ford Escape is brand new for 2020 and is now slightly longer, wider and lower than its predecessor as it enters its fourth generation. As before, the Escape is available in a wide variety of trims starting with the S and all the way up to the top-of-the-line Titanium model we had as a tester. A Hybrid version now rejoins the fold after a brief hiatus and Ford says a plug-in hybrid model is set to debut in the Spring.

Road Test: 2020 Mazda CX-30 GT

The Mazda CX-30 subcompact CUV is all-new for 2020 and slots in between the popular Mazda3 and CX-3 in Mazda’s lineup which has grown significantly in the recent years. In what is essentially a slightly higher Mazda3, the CX-30 does provide a more rugged feel and although appears bigger it boasts roughly the same rear cargo and rear seat space as a 3 hatchback.

Road Test: 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit

One of Jeep’s biggest selling points is the versatility and capability each and every one of their vehicles have, and the 2020 version of the Grand Cherokee is no exception. Still sticking to the same generation that was introduced back in 2011, the Grand Cherokee enters 2020 perhaps a little long in the tooth, but if you’ve driven one you can clearly see Jeep is sticking with the ‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ mantra as it continues to perform as good or better than its competitors.

Road Test: 2019 Honda Passport Touring

This mid-sized cross-over fits nicely between Honda’s CR-V and Pilot offerings while sharing both their Pilot and Ridgeline’s same wheelbase. The Passport is 6 inches shorter than its larger 3 row Pilot sibling, and is really designed for those folks that don’t need to be hauling the entire kids team with them when they head up-country to test the vehicles light Off-Road capability. Road Test: 2019 Cadillac XT4

Cadillac is one of the last luxury automotive manufacturers to venture into the compact-luxury-crossover segment and will look to make a big splash in hopes of luring potential buyers away from their more established competition. On the exterior appearance side of things, Cadillac have done quite well and produced a nice, contemporary looking crossover that bears Cadillac’s current design theme with bold lines and an all-around nice look. Having always been a fan of Cadillac’s interior designs, the XT4 has got that right as well with simple interior that looks to be made of upscale materials and a sense of functionality that can sometimes be lost with all of the technology and features available today.
