Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe Adds to Growing AMG Family

Mercedes-AMG have recently unveiled the all-new GT 4-door Coupe which will be the first four-door sports car from Mercedes-AMG and combines a unique design, high comfort and outstanding technology with a four-door fastback layout. This expansion of the AMG GT allows customers to experience the unparalleled performance of Mercedes-AMG but in a more practical package. The car boasts an expressive design with a low hood, dominant front section and muscular body and is undoubtedly reminiscent of the 2-door AMG GT. As mentioned, it is the first four-door AMG GT model to combine a high level of day-to-day comfort with multiple individual options and the latest sports car technology. The GT four-door is offered with a powerful 3.0L  inline-six cylinder engine under the hood that produces an impressive 429 horsepower or a 4.0L V8 biturbo engine that is used on other AMG models and can produce an astounding 630 horsepower and a maximum torque of 664 lb.-ft. at 2,500-4,500 rpm. This allows the AMG GT four-door Coupe to go from 0-100km/h in just 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 315 km/h. The inline-six engine is paired to an AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G transmission while the V8 models come standard with the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G both of which provide lightning quick shifts for ultimate performance.
