Readers Rides: 1955 Ford F100
Geoff Smith’s beautiful 1955 Ford F100 pickup was built by Stone’s Speed Shop in Chilliwack, B.C. and boasts a Dart small-block 427 engine with an 8-71 BDS blower that makes a very impressive 706 horsepower and 690 lb-ft of torque, and is paired to a TCI-built Ford AOD transmission. Inside features a hand-fabricated metal console, a modified dash with a relocated gauge cluster, touchscreen GPS, Dakota digital gauges, push-button electric e-brake and exhaust cut-outs, plus all-Italian leather upholstery done by Derek Friesen at Custom Creations. Other notable features include a 9-in. rear-end with a wave-trac posi and 3.73 gears, adjustable coilovers all around, Mickey Thompson Super Sport tires and four-wheel disc brakes with sequential LED brake lights.
