Tech: Ididit Steering Column Install

When looking into getting a new steering column for our ’68 Chevelle project, one of the first companies that came to mind was Ididit, who have been producing quality steering columns and related products for the past 30 years. When we learned that they were on board with our project, we quickly selected the tilt floor shift steering column with a black powder coat finish, that was specifically made for the 1967-68 Chevelle, as the product we would use.

This retrofit column is designed to fit into the 1968 Chevelle without any modifications needed for installation. It comes complete with a wiring harness adaptor and to install, we simply removed the old column, and prepared to install the new one, which took less than half an hour to complete.
