Road Test: 2020 Nissan Sentra SR

The Nissan Sentra has now entered its eighth generation and although it continues to be Nissan’s best-selling nameplate in Canada, it was in great need of an overhaul. The previous version was still a very good value and got the job done, but there was little to wow you away from some of its very impressive competition. This has all changed now as the Sentra now boasts a much sportier, more upscale look with a completely updated interior that is well laid out, functional and nice to look at.

Road Test: 2020 Ford Escape Titanium

The Ford Escape is brand new for 2020 and is now slightly longer, wider and lower than its predecessor as it enters its fourth generation. As before, the Escape is available in a wide variety of trims starting with the S and all the way up to the top-of-the-line Titanium model we had as a tester. A Hybrid version now rejoins the fold after a brief hiatus and Ford says a plug-in hybrid model is set to debut in the Spring.

Road Test: 2020 Mazda CX-30 GT

The Mazda CX-30 subcompact CUV is all-new for 2020 and slots in between the popular Mazda3 and CX-3 in Mazda’s lineup which has grown significantly in the recent years. In what is essentially a slightly higher Mazda3, the CX-30 does provide a more rugged feel and although appears bigger it boasts roughly the same rear cargo and rear seat space as a 3 hatchback.

One of Jeep’s biggest selling points is the versatility and capability each and every one of their vehicles have, and the 2020 version of the Grand Cherokee is no exception. Still sticking to the same generation that was introduced back in 2011, the Grand Cherokee enters 2020 perhaps a little long in the tooth, but if you’ve driven one you can clearly see Jeep is sticking with the ‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ mantra as it continues to perform as good or better than its competitors.
