27th Annual Sockeye Run Car Show
The 27th Annual Sockeye Run Car Show will happen on Sunday, June 11th at Steveston Park in Richmond, BC starting at 10am and finishing at 4pm. The last three years of the show have seen an average of 300 cars show up competing for trophies and prizes with a special Electric Vehicle Showcase debuting last year. Numerous activities are scheduled throughout the day including an air guitar contest for kids, a lowrider competition, the sweet exhaust sound contest, and a model car building workshop. Awards are presented starting at 2:45pm with the prestigious Best in Show award being top prize which was won last year by Glen Biddle and his modified orange Barracuda.
