Alfa Romeo Announces Pricing for All-New 2018 Stelvio Quadrifoglio

Alfa Romeo recently released pricing information for the all-new 2018 Stelvio Quadrifoglio which has been dubbed the world’s fastest production SUV. The Canadian Manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for the Alfa SUV will be set at $95,000 which seems like a hefty price tag, but is justified by the impressive power and performance numbers already achieved. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio boasts an all-aluminum, direction injection 2.9L twin-turbocharged V6 engine that produces 505 horsepower and 443 lb.-ft. of torque which propels the SUV from 0-100km/h in an impressive 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 283 km/h. The engine is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission that can be manually controlled through standard steering column-mounted paddle shifters. The iconic Quadrifoglio (four-leaf clover) badge is featured on the Stelvio which symbolizes the legendary Alfa Romeo race cars and high-performance vehicles of both the present and the past. In addition to sheer power, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio features state-of-the-art performance technologies such as a torque vectoring differential, Alfa DNA Pro drive mode selector with RACE mode, adjustable adaptive damping performance suspension and 6-piston Brembo front brakes. All of these featured came together and allowed the Stelvio Quadrifoglio to lap the Nurburgring in a record time of 7 minutes 51.7 seconds which is the fastest time every posted by a production SUV. In addition to the standard features above, a few ultra-high performance options are offered including ultra-lightweight carbon fibre Sparco race seats and ultra-high-performance Brembo carbon-ceramic material brake system.
