Auto Meter Now Offering Diesel Tach Adapter

Auto Meter’s new Diesel Tach Adapter is one of the most requested accessories from diesel enthusiasts, as it allows users to install an aftermarket tachometer. The adapter uses a small pick-up probe that is strapped to the outside of the vehicle’s alternator and inductively reads its rotation. From there, the adapter uses the one-touch calibration process to convert the signal to a 12v square wave signal that any AutoMeter tachometer can use.
