BD Diesel is now offering its BD 48RE Transmissions for the 2003-2007 Dodge trucks, with an optional TapShifter kit for the ultimate transmission setup that allows you to access all four gears and converter lock-up control with the push of a button. The 48RE TapShifter required no programming and allows for automatic or full manual shifting for your third-gen Dodge with the use of a newer 68FE-style shift lever, control module, gear selection display and a sealed plug-in wiring harness that will not require any cutting or tapping of wires.
