Chevrolet Announces 4500HD and 5500HD Medium Duty Trucks
Chevrolet have announced that they will be unveiling their all-new Silverado Class 4 and 5 chassis cab trucks at The Work Truck Show 2018 which will take place March 6th to 9th in Indianapolis. The show serves as the perfect place for such an announcement as it is the largest work truck event and is expected to draw more than 11,000 public and private fleet truck operators, dealers and equipment distributors. The all-new trucks will be available in regular and crew cab models with both 2WD and 4WD capability and a wide range of GVWRs and wheelbases. They (of course) will be powered by both Duramax diesel engines and Allison transmissions and will be offered with Chevrolet’s expanding suite of driver connectivity and fleet management solutions including OnStar, 4G LTE Wi-Fi, and a number of telematics offerings. Additional technical specifications will be announced after the unveiling in Indianapolis with production slated to begin in late 2018.
