Dodge Teases the 2019 Challenger SRT Hellcat

Dodge has released a teaser image and some information regarding the upcoming 2019 Challenger SRT Hellcat which will reach back into Dodge’s 100-plus-year history and introduce a new dual-snorkel hood on Hellcat models. This pays homage to the distinctive Mopar design themes for some of its most famous muscle cars of the past. The new, fully functional hood is much like the ones found in the 1960s and 1970s but with a new, modern interpretation that provides an even more aggressive look and provides maximum air intake to the supercharged V8 that propels the Hellcat. There has been some speculation that this could mean an increase on the power derived from the supercharged 6.2L but no other information will be shared until sometime this summer, says Dodge.
