More Details and Pricing Announced for 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk

The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk will be the most powerful SUV ever when it arrives in showrooms in the fourth quarter of 2017 thanks to its supercharged 6.2L V8 engine that is also found in the Dodge Challenger Hellcat and produces an astounding 707 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque. The power plant is paired to an upgraded TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission and boasts and impressive 0-60mph time of just 3.5 seconds, a quarter mile time of 11.6 seconds and a top speed of 290 km/h. Also featured on the Trackhawk is Jeep’s Quadra-Trac on-demand 4×4 system which includes an electronic limited-slip rear differential and a single-speed active transfer case. The Selec-Track system uses performance tuned software to pre-configure and distinguish the five dynamic modes (Auto, Sport, Track, Snow and Tow). A new high performance Brembo braking system with a new distinctive yellow finish add to the overall appearance of the Trackhawk and delivers 60-0 mph braking performance of 35 meters (114 feet).

Appearance upgrades for the Trackhawk include new 20 x 10-inch polished aluminum wheels, a supercharged badge on both front doors and a Trackhawk badge on the liftgate, a sculpted hood with dual heat extractors, and a one-inch lower ride than non-SRT Grand Cherokee models.

Pricing for the 2018 Grand Cherokee Trackhawk will start with an MSRP of $109,995 and is due to hit showrooms by the fourth quarter of 2017.
