Readers Rides: 1951 Chevrolet Panel Delivery Truck

Elaine and Bruce Kowalison originally purchased their 1951 Chevrolet Panel Delivery Truck out of Bellingham, Washington and completed a frame-off restoration back in 2011. The truck is powered by a fuel-injected LT1 350 out of a 1994 Corvette paired with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission with a TCI Shift Kit. It sits on a Mustang II suspension with 3-in. drop spindles and 11-in. GM disc brakes. Inside features a custom-made centre console with rear backup camera and LCD monitor, a Sony CD stereo system and a three-piece removable bed in the rear cargo area built by Bruce for those long road trips without the trailer.
