Toyota Unveils Pricing and Details Regarding 2019 Tacoma

Toyota has announced details regarding the 2019 Tacoma mid-size pickup truck in a range of models and trim levels, highlighted by an enhanced pair of Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro editions. The truck still features the proven 3.5L V6 engine under the hood of most models that delivers up to 278 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque and is outfitted with a long list of advanced technologies to maximize power and limit emissions. Every model that features the V6 option under the hood is also standard equipped with a Class IV weight distribution tow hitch, 7-pin wiring harness and Trailer Sway Control technology. For maximum fuel efficiency, a 2.7L four-cylinder is also available. Engines are paired to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic super electronically controlled transmission with a lock-up torque converter. Interior and Exterior designs remain the same as 2018 except for new dual USB inputs on the audio system. The TRD Pro Package, which can enhance the 4×4 Double Cab V6 TRD Off-Road and 4×4 Double Cab V6 TRD Sport models, now includes a high-mount desert air intake, black chrome exhaust tip and an updated TRD skid plate with a red logo and a moonroof as new for 2019. Aside from that, the TRD Pro package immediately provides even more off-road capability to an already off-road capable vehicle with the additions of Fox shock absorbers, 16-in. black alloy wheels, TRD remote reservoir suspension kit and Rigid Industries LED fog lamps to name a few. Pricing for the 2019 Tacoma begins at $31,525 for the Access Cab 4×2 model and goes all the way up to $56,435 for the aforementioned 4×4 Double Cab V6 TRD Off-Road model with the TRD Pro package. The 2019 Toyota Tacoma is on sale now across the country.
