Cadillac Introduces XT4 Compact SUV
Cadillac has recently introduced its first-ever XT4 compact SUV that has been designed on an exclusive compact SUV architecture and is Cadillac’s first entry into the fastest growing luxury segment. The XT4 will be offered in Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport models all of which offer distinctive styling cues and trim finishes to create their own unique persona. All models feature Cadillac’s vertical L-shaped lighting signature with LED lighting technology. Aside from the lighting, the exterior design of the XT4 fits right in along with Cadillac’s other current offerings with a refined, sporty look that is certainly distinctive. Inside of the XT4 is a sophisticated and modern design that includes intuitive technology such as next-gen wireless device charging and an in-cabin ionizer. It offers exceptional space for a compact SUV, especially for rear-seat passengers. Powering the all-new XT4 will be a new Cadillac 2.0L Turbo engine that pushes out 237 horsepower with 258 lb-ft. of torque and features an industry-first tripower system that is designed to optimize performance and efficiency by having three distinct operating modes. A nine-speed automatic transmission is paired to the new engine and features electronic precision shift which features an intuitive shifting sequence. The available Active Sport Suspension features Continuous Damping Control and utilizes electronic sensors to monitor the road in real time making damping adjustments every 2 milliseconds. Finally, a twin-clutch all-wheel-drive system is available and offers the convenience of decoupling entire from the rear wheels when the driver chooses.
