Toyota Gives the Prius v A Few Upgrades for 2018

Toyota hasrecently released information regarding the 2018 Prius v that receives a few upgrades for the new model year. The advanced crossover combines impressive space and versatility with remarkable technology and fuel efficiency. New standard features for all 2018 Prius v models include Toyota Safety Sense P and a new 4.2-in. multi-information display. Toyota Safety Sense P joins a long list of active and passive safety system that are standard on all Prius v models including the Pre-Collision System, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Land Departure Alert and Automatic High Beams. The new infotainment display adds to the driver-focused interior setup and joins other great features such as Push Button Start, ECO Drive Monitor and other modern appointments. As you’d expect with any model carrying the Prius name, the Prius v features incredible fuel efficiency thanks largely to its Hybrid Synergy Drive system that is built around a 1.8L Atkinson cycle four-cylinder engine with Variable Valve Timing with intelligence and other systems that are meant to maximize both power and efficiency. The hybrid drivetrain generates 136 net horsepower and has a very impressive fuel efficiency rating of just 5.8L/100 km city/highway combined. In addition, the Prius v boasts a sleek profile with a coefficient drag of just 0.29 meaning it slices through the wind with very little resistance resulting in better fuel economy. The 2018 Prius v will go on sale in January 2018 with a starting MSRP of $29,675.
