Toyota Reveals the All-New 2019 Avalon

Toyota has recently unveiled their all-new 2019 Avalon which is their flagship nameplate and now is underpinned by a Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform. The full-size premium sedan features an updated look that is similar to the outgoing model but offers a much sleeker look that is longer, wider and lower than before. An available adaptive variable suspension automatically adjusts the dampers based on current conditions and can be altered by different drive modes including; Eco, Normal, Sports, Sport+ and Custom. The wider nature of the exterior provides greater interior space, which itself features authentic materials such as the wood trim and authentic aluminum pieces. The driver oriented cockpit features a slim centre stack which houses the 9-in. Entune 3.0 multimedia system which displays the audio and navigation information as well as the automatic climate control system. The gauge cluster area features a 7-in. Multi-Information Display (MID) which displays a digital speedometer and tachometer as well as vehicle information, navigation maps and various vehicle settings based on what you choose to have displayed at the time. Past the instrument cluster setup is an available 10-in. Heads-Up Display (HUD) which is the biggest in the segment. An available 14-speaker JBL performance audio system is available. Under the hood features a new 3.5L V6 engine that will develop more power with less fuel consumption than ever before and will be paired to a 8-speed Direct Shift-8AT automatic transaxle gearbox. In addition, the Avalon offers a full suite of Toyota’s top safety technology and driver assists that work to keep the driver and all occupants as safe as possible.
