Toyota Unveils the 2019 4Runner with more Off-Road TRD Features

The 2019 version of the Toyota 4Runner will see a few things added to its lineup including a new Nightshade edition and even more off-road TRD features on the TRD Pro model. The 4Runner is one of the few heavy-duty, body-on-frame designs left in the SUV world and features a look complemented by a bold grille, pronounced fender flares and alloy wheels that allow it to carry a very rugged appearance. The new Nightshade edition offers the same premium comfort and amenities as the top-level Limited 4Runner but adds unique black detailing for a sleek, sophisticated look. The off-road oriented TRD Pro model returns once again and even sees a few additions for 2019 including TRD Fox Shocks, an aluminum front skid plate, basket style roof rack and LED fog lamps. All 4Runners offer the 4.0L V6 engine as the lone option under the hood paired to a 5-speed automatic super electronically controlled transmission with overdrive, a lockup torque converter and transmission cooler for responsive shifts. The 4Runner TRD Pro model comes with an MSRP of $56,580 while the Nightshade Edition comes in at $55,115.
