Aston Martin Introduces the All-New Vantage

Aston Martin today released the all-new Vantage which carries on the name of the purest Aston Martin model for the last seven decades which was first used on a high-output engine option for the DB2 back in 1951. The new Vantage provides a bold and distinctive design that features an athletic stance with minimal front or rear overhangs and muscular flanks. The new side gills have been integrated into the body surface and bleed air pressure out from the front wheel arches helps provide the Vantage with a significant level of downforce. Inside, a dynamic ad focused sports car cockpit is found that offers aggressive lines and a lower driving position to create an excellent driving experience. Under the hood of the new Vantage Aston Martin’s new 4.0L twin-turboV8 engine that is set low and as far back as possible to help the car achieve a near perfect 50:50 weight distribution. The engine produces 503 horsepower and 505 lb-ft of torque and puts power to the rear wheels through a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. A number of electronic systems are featured to offer maximum control including Dynamic Stability Control and Dynamic Torque Vectoring. Also included in terms of performance upgrades are an Electronic Rear Differential, Adaptive Damping, an electric power steering system and new Pirelli P Zero tires that have been specifically developed for the Vantage. The new Vantage is on sale now with deliveries set to begin during the second quarter of 2018.
